SRT's Director first met Lesley in her Sea-changers role in 2000, when she joined SRT on one of our systematic boat-based surveys. During a follow up land-based seal site visit, Sue asked Lesley what her day job was. Despite being adamant that she would never be involved in charity finances to mix her day job and leisure passion, Lesley found herself agreeing to become SRT's Treasurer. Lesley is a CIMA-qualified Management Accountant by trade and a dedicated environmental conservationist by heart. She bridges the gap between financial precision and environmental advocacy, leveraging her professional expertise to support the protection of our land and seascapes. Currently Lesley is pioneering the Southwest Representative role for Sea-changers. She is committed to proactively supporting local impact and sustaining the health of our coastal waters through lifelong campaign and conservation work.
